Best of 2022: Sports

My top ten favorite sports photos of 2022. Not necessarily the best photos and certainly not the best action shots, but each is a singular moment that I think captures some of the spirit and spectacle of competition that makes sports so vital and necessary. Why do we compete? This is why.
