The IHSA has declared Peoria Heights High School freshman Cain McNair ineligible to play football this season after transferring from Peoria Notre Dame, where he also played football. He can practice with the Patriots and stand on the sidelines during games, but he can’t play. His mother Stephanie Caho has filed a lawsuit against the IHSA to get the ruling changed.
